I tested one in the store and it jammed, though it was the last page in the supply. I cleared it and it was fine. Copies of color photographs come out quite impressive in the grayscale photo reproductions. I got the unit because of the double-sided copying feature, which works quite well and is a treat to use. Two single pages can become one double-sided even when fed from the ADF. This proved quite useful during tax time to reduce paper ...more

I print contracts, send/recieve many FAXes, require legal size paper handling and needed a good copier that can handle 40-60 pages in the auto-feed tray. I also wanted two paper trays that could hold a lot of paper. I tried one of the lower end HP (7100?something) and it was .. let's just say a bad experience. In a nutshell, this multi feature product seems to work well for what I need. If you run a home business, put it away from you because it's warm until ...more

I agree with the previous reviewer that the scanning function should be improved. In addition to what he mentioned, if you have a small network, you cannot use the USB scan as it is not hooked directly to a computer. However, I was (eventually) able to configure the unit on my network so that I could basically e-mail documents to myself in PDF. Not the most convenient, but very doable once you get used to it.
