Noise canceling, light weight, very comfortable. Try them in your nearest Apple store, and you'll notice that everything falls silent inside the(often a busy) store. As for the price, $300 is a bit steep. I bought mine used for $150, and i'm entirely satisfied with paying that much for these headphones. Yes, I know I am quite late in getting around to purchasing and using what has become the iconic leader in the noise suppression industry. But I have used my Bose QuietComfort2 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones for over two years and I have nothing but positive things to say about the experience.
