The Mobile Crossings WP200 GPS can be a bit difficult to set up it you do not have experience with mobile devices. With a little trial and error you can figure it out. As a GPS goes the screen size is comfortable. The PDA is simular to the HP 6300 in that it has the outdated Windows mobile 2003. Which is impossible to upgrade to Windows Mobile 5 or 6. My first impression of the gps was that it seemed sturdy out of the package and the equipment wasn't too overwhelming but made sense. The set up was a little tricky because you had to do this update in order to get your maps uploaded. Be real careful because it requests you to hit yes for an update and it's like a three second window, otherwise you have to restart the whole update process and then you can sync your gps. I bought this thing over a year ago, it is my only GPS to date, and works smooth (and better than some models friends have). The nice thing is you can take this to-go, and plug it into a friends car. Or bring it with you on a place and put it in the rental car. I went to Brazil, and aside from having to get the Brazil maps loaded on in advance, worked very nicely, with Points Of Interest there too. Traveling by train, I used the product mainly to navigate on foot in the various cities I visited. I found the pre-programmed waypoints of tourist sites, train stations, and even London tube stops, to be extremely accurate. The maps seem more up to date, and, due to the difficulty of finding anything in France, much more useful. I managed to find our company's new building in a new town by punching in the address, and I was able to use my emap to find it in 10 minutes from the train station.
