[2] Rating: 5 Date: 2008-11-01 Summary: Wonderful tool for 5-year-old while parent is working on homework with older sibling ... Wonderful product. Would purchase again in a heartbeat. In the last paragraph I discuss this product's only minus. My 5-year-old calls Tag "superfun". I love that when I work with my older child doing homework my kindgartner can quietly work right beside us thanks to the headphone jack. Not only does it "read" the book, it also makes interactive sounds when any picture on the page is touched. The frustration level is kept to a minimum because my child cannot answer questions (play games) that are too advanced until ...more

Customer Reviews — [1] Rating: 5 Date: 2004-05-11 Summary: Encarta 2004 versus Britannica 2004 ... I have bought both Encarta and Britannica for years (EB in printed edition too: 32 volumes, 32.000 sheets). This is my opinion in brief: Encarta is excellent in all aspects, but Britannica's authoritative text (sometimes outdated) makes interesting to buy both. TEXT: Britannica is a superb encyclopedia in text (not in visual aid) since 1768 (you know: an article by Einstein and so on...). Text in electronic version differs from printed encyclopedia (very large articles have been shortened). Britannica claims that it ...more
[2] Rating: 5 Date: 2004-08-13 Summary: ENCARTA 2004 Reference Library: The masterpiece encyclopedia ... From 1993, Microsoft Corporation has started the Encarta series. They don't tell us where did the name come from and neither do I know. But I DO know that in this new edition it has a brand-new look. What do I mean? The encyclopedia now opens up on the Visual Browser, or VB for short, and is now distributed on two editions: DVD and CD-ROM.
