Excellent device, I wanted it mainly for the 5.1 surround sound and it works great, it has minor driver details with AC3 filters but nothing you cannot work around, I am using ffdshow codecs and the sound drivers from the manufacturer’s web page. Has a great price and works as expected, I recommended to everyone that wants 5.1 surround sound on a laptop or in my case on a MacMini with MCE2005. ...more

This is the only power adaptor that I could find that also had an audio out on it. It allows me to charge the ipod and connect the ipod to the aux input on the car stereo. We have other ipods as well, but this product has allowed me to leave that ipod in the car so we have it at all times. The only negative is the built in amplifier. You have to get it just right to avoid getting a feedback type of hum throung the car stereo. ...more
[2] Rating: 4 Date: 2008-08-03 Summary: Doesn't work with iPhone 3G ... This product works great for iPods and the original iPhone. But note that it won't charge the new iPhone 3G. You can play music from the 3G through the Belkin, but it won't charge. This is because, as I understand it, the 3G is the first iPod/iPhone product that will only charge via the USB lines in the Dock Connector. But the Belkin still uses the older Firewire lines for charging. ...more
