I'm using the APC BR1200 Back-UPS as a power back-up and surge suppressor for my electronics entertainment center (TV, DVD, AV Receiver, etc.). I love the eight outlets on the back side, enough to cover every piece of hardware I wanted protection for. It was easy to set up and worked well right out of the box, after removing the protective tape, etc. I've used APC UPS' before, and have always been happy with them, but this one is the best yet. ...more

The auto back-up function of this card is provided by software, the setup for that software is included on the card. If you delete that software, you get a regular 32GB SDHC card for a very good price. Note that the usable space on the card is about 30GB; some of it's reserved for load-leveling. (I confirmed all of the above w/Patriot support). UPDATE 09-15-2009: The price of this card has increased to the point where it is no longer much cheaper than other 32GB SDHC cards.
