It barely weighs anything! The screen can be viewed horizontally or vertically just by turning the ipod to the left or right. 8 GB is actually a lot of space, and you can always change out the music. The coolest feature for me was the ability to shuffle songs by physically shaking it. Very cool. ...more

We watched a couple of TV shows, listened to some music, and looked at some pictures. My son also liked turning it from side to side, watching the picture flip. The controls have the same feel as the old nano. The shake/shuffle feature is fun to play with, when you don't know what to listen to. The screen is very clear and has great contrast. Its greatest asset is also its greatest flaw...It's so small and thin it's easy to lose. ...more
