I use the Be Operating System (BeOS), and therefore, sometimes have trouble finding hardware which works with the system. I recently upgraded from dial-up internet to dsl, and needed a NIC which was compatible with BeOS. The 3Com 3C905C-TX-M was suggested, so I ordered it from a seller here on Amazon. [2] Rating: 5 Date: 2006-08-21 Summary: Works with Norton Ghost ... I had trouble using Broadcom NetXtreme (b57xx) with Norton Ghost. And this card fixed the problem. 3com is a standard nic, and the driver often works with "Intel 100 Pro (E100B)" nics too. ...more
