I plugged all the cables from my network into the switch and everything worked just fine. The front panel LED's display orange for 100 Mbps connections and green for 1 Gbps connections which is nice.The green technology to reduce power consumption is a good idea. We all know how all our gadgets can add to our electricity costs. All my new computer builds have motherboards with built in gigabyte Ethernet, so this was a fitting edition.
